Commercial Storm Damage Variations in a Wilmington Building
This large office was affected by a broken water line in two very different ways. The Before Photo illustrates an area that simply required vacuuming up some pooling water. Moving around the office furniture helped to prevent harm to them. The After Photo shows another wing of the office that had received several inches of standing water that had wicked into the walls. The drywall panels were "gutted" since they were no longer serviceable as a wall covering. The exposed cinder blocks could then be treated to ensure that any lingering moisture was removed from the grout lines and the hollow cells.
